| Take I-80 towards Davis, just west of downtown Davis, take Hwy 113 North. (Do not take the UC Davis Exit on I-80). The most convenient parking to the Food Science and Technology Dept buildings are the parking garage and visitors parking (VP) lots 25 and 15. |
| Directions to parking garage: From Highway 113 north exit on Russell Blvd and turn right (east) onto Russell. Then, at the 4th light, turn right at Howard Way, and park in the garage on the left. If you have a visitor's pass you can park anywhere except at the meters. If not, you can park at the meters, but you will need quarters, and the meters only last 2 hours. Just past the garage is an Info kiosk where you can ask questions weekdays 7:30 am-5 pm. From the garage walk towards the Memorial Union then turn right onto the north quad road. Continue on north quad until you come to California Ave, there is a round about in the intersection, turn right onto California and Cruess Hall is on the left side of the road. The Food Science and Technology Building (FSTB) is right past Cruess Hall off of north quad road. |
| Directions to VP 25: From Highway 113 north exit on Hutchison and turn right onto Hutchison Road. At the traffic light turn left onto La Rue Road. At the next traffic light, Orchard Park Drive, turn right and pull into parking lot 25. Visitor Parking is also available in staff parking lots after 5:00 pm as well. From the parking lot walk towards campus, you will walk past the Housing Office and Coop Farm, the Food Science and Technology Building (FSTB) and Cruess Hall will be about 100 yards on the left side of the path. |
| Directions to VP 15: From Highway 113 north exit on Russell Blvd and turn right (east) onto Russell. Off of Russell turn right onto California Ave. VP 15 is on the left side of the road past the rec fields. Visitor Parking is also available in staff parking lots after 5:00 pm as well. From the parking lot walk towards campus on California Ave., Cruess Hall will be on the left side of the road diagonal from the parking lot. |
| Daily parking costs $6.00 per day, Monday through Friday. Permits may be purchased from the dispensers in the parking lots. The machines will accept quarters, $1 bills, $5 bills, Visa or MasterCard credit cards. Parking is free on weekends and observed holidays, except during special events.
